Terms & Conditions

Once you send your initial email, please allow up to 3-5 business days for a response.

Please do not send me anything but what you’d like to have done, ie, a poster, logo, or flyer. Please do not send me design ideas or any information you would like to include on the graphic.

Follow-up correspondents will initiate design ideas and the needed information for completion.

Pricing

Pricing is subject to change without warning.

Pricing includes fees for my time, my creativity, and your edits and re-edits of subsequent designs until we finalize your project.

The first 10 test designs are free. Afterward, an additional $10 will be required for each new edit.

The first 5 logo testing boards are free. Test boards typically include 4 to 5 designs. Afterward, an additional $15 will be needed to render each new board.

RUSH JOBS are subject to a 40% markup above the base project price.

Any edits made after finalizing your design are free (up to 2 weeks after completion), i.e., color changes or size alterations, as long as the design concept isn’t altered in any way.

Things You Need to Know

Please note that I reserve the right to edit and/or modify your ideas to achieve the best possible outcome for your graphic. Color palettes can be created and explored at Adobe ColorPantone, or Google if you have an idea of the scheme you’re looking for. If not, I reserve the right to select one based on the mood or tone you’ve told me you’re trying to convey.

If your design requires images, please provide me with high-quality (minimum resolution of 1200 pixels) and/or Raw Image files. If you’ve had a photoshoot, please let the photographer know you will need the full-resolution images, edited or Unedited. I cannot commit to making a graphic with pixelated or blurry photos.

If your design is for a Book, Business Card, or Special-Sized Flyer, please provide me with the exact measurements of the project. Or if the printing company can or has provided a template, I can use that as well.

If you’ve received a PSD or AI file from a previous designer, I can edit it if the file is not corrupted and is compatible with the current version of the Adobe Suite.

I reserve the right to retain all files related to the design process of your project, either on my personal computer or an external hard drive. I also reserve the right to display your project on my portfolio and website, unless the project is explicitly stated to be private or not intended for public consumption.

Privacy Policy

I take my client’s and my own personal privacy & safety very seriously. That’s why I’d never ask a client for their personal banking information or give out my own for transactions.

I use only BBB-certified companies for monetary exchanges (PayPal, Cash App, Apple Pay). I would only consider cash payments in public locations during the day, and only if the monetary value did not exceed $50, for the safety of both parties.

I would never disclose or sell a client’s personal information (i.e., email address, phone number, and name) to anyone. I would never use any of your design ideas (whether used or unused) for other graphic works, whether personal or professional.

Return Policy

Clients have two Weeks (14 days) after a project is finalized and completed to contact me via email, text, or phone call to collect on a return or alteration.

As I have completed the client’s personalized requested work, I can not offer a 100% refund, but I can offer a 50% refund.

Likewise, if the client isn’t completely unhappy with the results but has a new idea or art direction for the same project, I can offer to complete a new design for the same project for half of the refunded sum. As long as communication about the redesign occurs within 30 days of the original completion date of the work.

Payments

Digital payments through PayPal, Cash App, or Apple Pay Cash ONLY.

Direct Deposits, Google Pay, or Checks are Not Accepted. No exceptions.

Cash can be exchanged in a public place during the day. The client must be comfortable meeting me at a location of my choosing. Cash will only be accepted if the monetary value does not exceed $50.

I do ask for half payment upfront as a retainer. Which becomes non-refundable once I send over a test design or designs. This policy is based on the time I spent creating test designs and handing over original ideas, which the client could use as inspiration for another designer.

Full payment is due before the finalized product is released.

Invoices are sent via PayPal.

PayPal charges me taxes for payments received. I used to eat the cost to offer my clients flat rates. To continue using PayPal to receive payments, I now have to charge taxes.

Fees collected via PayPal will now include Maryland state taxes (0.06%), but payments do not have to be processed through PayPal. Clients still have the flexibility to make payments via Cash App or Apple Pay, avoiding taxes and paying the flat-rate fee. I will then notate your invoice as paid in full!

All invoices allow for partial (50%) payment. Invoices typically do not have due dates unless the client requires a project to be completed by a specific date. If the project has a specific due date, it will be displayed as the payment due date on your invoice. Any edits made by THE CLIENT on or just before the final due date may impact the completion of the project on the agreed-upon date. In this event, I can not be held accountable for the client receiving their product late.

All invoices contain the Client's name, Business name, email, and Client's phone number. Your contact information will be saved in my PayPal contacts unless you request otherwise.

!!! Clients accept all terms and conditions, including the privacy policy, return policy, and payment terms, upon receipt of payment in any amount. These terms and conditions are subject to change without warning. !!!
